Grzegorz Onichimowski graduated from the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics (FTiMS) at Warsaw University of Technology and postgraduate studies of company management at Warsaw School of Economics.
Entrepreneur and manager with over 30 years of experience in the energy and IT sectors. Co-founder and long-time (2002-2012) CEO of the Polish Power Exchange. Consultant in many energy sector companies in Poland, Europe and the USA. In 2015-2019, he created the energy market of the Persian Gulf countries as Director of a project financed by 6 GCC countries in the regional
transmission system operator – GCCIA. He worked, among others, for the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, Columbus, NODES – the European flexibility platform. Graduate of Gdańsk University of Technology (Faculty of Management and Economics), where he earned his Master of Science in Engineering degree in 1996. For over 25 years, he has been involved in the IT industry, energy, manufacturing, telecommunications, Oil & Gas,
and public transportation sectors. He specializes in solution architecture, project management, and business analysis, combining technological expertise with a deep understanding of business processes.
Throughout his career, he has led key projects for major companies and institutions in Poland, including metering systems (MDM class), mobility service integration platforms, billing systems, and solutions supporting energy and logistics management. As a Lead Architect and Business Analyst, he was responsible for defining requirements, designing analytical models, creating system documentation, and coordinating project teams.
He is a certified specialist in Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF 9).
